Voyce Memos is an indie band that melds together indie rock, electronic, and dance elements, with eclectic influences, including Tame Impala, Daft Punk, and Death Cab for Cutie. Driving funky bass lines and guitar riffs on top of ethereal vocals and mixed electronic/live drumming, the band creates a timeless sound inspired by a pursuit of self understanding.

Friends Richard Borger (vocals, multi-instrumentalist, and producer), Akash Gupta (composer and multi-instrumentalist), and Stephen Mokulis (drums) started producing music together in 2018 in Houston. In April 2019, the band released their first album, Catching Me in Stride, which captures those moments in life when everything seems to change [electronic]. They continued to refine their sound which became their sophomore album Chronology in February 2021, in which different moments (represented by different periods of musical influence) were combined to make our own mark in time. Chronology received a strong response from fans and critics, such as Fame Magazine (“can’t get enough”) and YourEDM ("the kind of sound you want pouring out of your sunroof”). The band is currently working on their upcoming singles, which focused on the intricate power dynamics in romantic relationships. The band added bassist, back-up vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Andres Contreras in September 2021.
